From the Sand to the Surf
Surfing doesn't have to be intimidating. Here is exactly what we’ll do together.
01. Safety First
We start on the beach, covering essential water safety, currents, and surfing etiquette.
02. Board Basics
Get comfortable with your equipment, from attaching your leash to finding the sweet spot on your board.
03. Paddling Techniques
Learn the right way to paddle so you can save energy and move smoothly through the waves.
04. Perfecting the Pop-Up
We'll practice popping up to your feet on the sand until the motion feels like second nature.
05. Wave Timing
Learn how to read incoming swell sets, identify peeling shoulders vs. closeouts, and position at the peak.
06. Catching the Wave
Put it all together. Feel the thrill of dropping in and cruising down your very first wave.
